"Prevention is better than cure" It is better to try to keep a bad thing from happening than it is to fix the bad thing once it has happened no where is this sentence more relevant than when dealing with Handbags and leather goods.

Due to the adverse conditions that handbags face on a daily basis such as the weather (sunshine can be just as damaging to Leather as rain), stains, spillages etc. it is highly recommended that you protect your handbag from the moment you buy it.  At Handbag Therapy i highly recommend that a protection cream be applied to the leather immediately and then every 3 months going forward.   This cream creates a barrier on the leather that will offer some protection against stains and the elements etc. 

 

Also highly recommened is the Leather Ultra Clean spray... This unique leather cleaning solution contains no solvents or abrasives, allowing it to clean leather safely without causing any damage, yet it is still capable of removing deeply ingrained dirt and grime.  Leather Ultra Clean is an effective & powerful water based leather cleaner making it ideal for cleaning light coloured leathers that show the dirt most, but can still be used on all colours of leather safely.  We recommend cleaning your leather 3 or 4 times a year.
